
We followed Dayhills and Llena to CKUT Radio where they performed as part of a video series the station runs. Visiting CKUT Radio alongside Dayhills and Llena was an enlightening experience. At the station, we had the opportunity to explore CKUT’s extensive archive, a treasure trove of musical history. The team guided us through their collection, showcasing the meticulous organization and care taken to preserve a wide array of musical genres and cultural moments.
Additionally, witnessing the behind-the-scenes efforts shed light on the collaborative spirit and collective enthusiasm that permeated the station’s atmosphere. It was a great opportunity to witness firsthand the inner workings of a hub that celebrates music, culture, and the art of storytelling.
Llena (Jennifer Rodriguez) is a singer-songwriter based in Montreal, Canada. Born in El Salvador, her sound combines influences from her Latin roots with contemporary R&B and Hip-Hop. Her distinct voice lends soulful depth to the melodies she crafts, delivering emotion-filled performances over smooth rhythms that are sure to make you dance.

Dayhills (Isaiah Iseghohi) is a Montreal based artist with a passion for crafting emotionally driven and thought-provoking work at the intersection of sound and image. With years of experience in the music industry, his output spans across genres- ranging from hip-hop, electronic, pop and R&B, where his ability to create captivating and diverse productions has landed him notable collaborations, including ‘Video Games’ featuring Sun, and ‘Yuteman Dennis’ with Skiifall & Charlotte Cardin. Most recently, Dayhills is working with AI in both music and visual art to explore the relationship between human creativity and technology.
