Wandering at the Exit of Deity
Eyez
Noah Sherrin
Wandering at the Exit of Deity immerses viewers in a speculative sci-fi world where humanity has undergone a profound bio-digital transformation.
Viewers are invited to witness the intertwined existence of MetaE and BetaE – two beings inhabiting this reality – delving into their mutual devouring, fusion, and dissociation. MetaE exists on the cosmic scale, emerging as liquid-like reflections in spacetime’s vast Dirac Sea while BetaE exists on a microscopic scale, formed from cellular colonies bathed in shimmering nutrient solutions.
The experience takes place within a world of millions of jellyfish-like living bubble units which are sustained by a Deity who has risen from the Earth’s core after observing humanity for hundreds of thousands of years. When a sudden neural glitch occurs within one of the bubbles BetaE’s enhanced reality mask gets disrupted, revealing a reflection of another self from before the post-human era. The inhabitants of this world and the viewer are confronted by a once hidden, dissonant reality, asking us to consider how the revelation of hidden truths can impact our imagining of the future.
