Local Spin is a monthly workshop series hosted by a different DJ each month at World Creation Studio. Designed for individuals interested in trying out mixing for the first time or DJs starting out and interested in brushing up on their mixing skills and sharing music with new friends.
Workshop Format:
- Intro to mixing workshop and demo
- Open decks – hands on experience mixing

TEYKIRISI is a Honduran DJ/Producer inspired by the vibrant and diverse sounds of the latinx diaspora, from the gritty sounds of reggeaton, dembow & batida, to sleek electronic sounds influenced by footwork, jersey club, and techno.
Her passion for music goes beyond the dance floor, as she works closely with members of the local community to create events that showcase and uplift Latin American artists. Her events are more than just parties, they are celebrations of the rich cultural heritage of Latin America, and often offer a platform for fundraising to support social justice issues.
Tevkirisi is the co-founder of Kadera, Montreal’s hottest emerging open-format party bringing together the best local acts and stellar special guests.
She is also part of Open Enclave, a Collective that aims to nurture the local scene focusing on giving POC/LGBTQIA people more opportunities.
